YAKIMA, Wash., October 10, 2022 – Yakima Chief Hops (YCH), a 100% farmer owned global hop supplier, is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Pendergast,  Chief Information Officer to their Executive Leadership Team.

For more than 30 years, Yakima Chief Hops has held a mission of connecting the multigenerational family farms of the Pacific Northwest to the finest brewers across the globe. Owned by 15 different hop growers, YCH supplies quality hop products for the entire brewing community, including macro, craft, nano, and home brewers.  

As YCH tirelessly pursues innovation and continuous improvement, both having a strong IT infrastructure as well as understanding where technology leads the way in our world today and especially within the brewing industry, it was important to have someone who could bring new perspectives and strength to this area of business.

Brian Pendergast brings a wealth of knowledge and decades of experience and expertise to YCH’s teams. Brian’s career includes over 25 years working in his field including manufacturing, legal, media information, financial services, and software solutions. Among his accomplishments, Brian’s work has overseen technology transformation for over 15 different organizations throughout his career and has authored several globally recognized engineering patents in technology. Brian is also a graduate of University of Arizona, has studied his post-graduate at Rochester Institute of Technology and holds his certificate in Executive Leadership CIO/CIT from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.
